In the 17th century, Keswick was the crossroads for many of the horse and carriage routes which traversed the Lake District. The family-owned and run Kings Arms Hotel in the very centre of Keswick, a true coaching inn of that period, offers the traveller of today the same unrivalled hospitality and friendly service in keeping with its heritage.
We are dog friendly and dogs are welcome in our bar and most of our rooms.
The year officially marks 40 years since the hotel was purchased by the Graves family and the legacy of Lake District Hotels first started.
To honour the hotel’s ‘Ruby anniversary’, we are doing something to mark the special occasion every single month of the year and we would like to invite you to join in on the celebrations.
If that’s not enough, we are running a limited-time ‘40th Anniversary Ale’ and a ‘Kings Arms Ruby Gin’ which will be available all throughout the year at our bar! Make sure to try them while they’re here if you’re visiting the Lake District at any point in 2023.
The 13 charming en-suite bedrooms at the Kings Arms Hotel, are furnished to a high standard.
The charm of the building, with it being over 300 years old, means that the bedrooms all vary in size and no two bedrooms are the same!
